Snorkel Lessons

If you’ve never snorkelled before or you’re not very comfortable in the water then snorkelling by yourself can seem hard. Here at Castaway we have Loic, an ex-National French swimming team coach, who is on hand to help you get going in the water with a snorkel lesson on our house reef.

Loic is available in the mornings to give snorkelling and swimming lessons to adults and kids. Lessons last about 90 minutes and are a mixture of coaching and accompanied exploration of the house reef. Once you’ve had a lesson with Loic you will be confident in your own abilities and ready to snorkel by yourself. Once you are comfortable you can either rent snorkel equipment from us and go snorkelling off of any of Koh Lipe’s beaches or you can join one of our daily snorkel trips into the marine park.
