PADI Open Water Course

Price: 15,500 THB

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular entry point into the world of diving. The course takes about 3-4 days, includes 4 dives and results in a certification allowing you to dive to 18 meters anywhere around the world. For this course you will watch a few short videos, do a little bit of reading and written homework, practice dive skills in shallow water and of course you’ll go diving!

What You Learn

  • Study and understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
  • Understand a little bit about the science of diving.
  • Learn and practice necessary skills in confined water.
  • Learn basic underwater and surface safety precautions.
  • How to apply these skills in open water dives.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 15 years of age for Open Water Diver or 10 years or older for Junior Open Water Diver.
  • Must be physically fit to dive.
  • Must be a capable swimmer.

Scuba Diver

Price: 11,000 THB

If you haven’t got a lot of time but you want to begin the process of learning to scuba dive, then the scuba diver course is the course for you. The scuba diver course is a 2 day course for which you will do 2 open water dives. This course results in a certification that will allow you to dive to 12 meters anywhere around the world under the supervision of a dive professional. This course is something of a shortened version of the Open Water course and can be upgraded to Open Water at any PADI dive center  with a few more dives and a bit of classroom work.

  • Basic principles of diving.
  • Basic underwater safety precautions and skills in shallow water.
  • How to apply these skills in open water dives.

Requirements

  • 15 years or older (for the Junior Scuba Diver the minimum age is only 10 years old).
  • Must be physically fit to dive.
